Show Notes

Ryan Kolbe is a man of big dreams. After working in the ad agency world most of his career he packed things up, rented his home in Cincinnati and headed wet to pursue his acting dreams in Los Angeles.

As many actors, Ryan worked many side hustles and even as a general manager at a bar. Ryan wore many hats such as money management, inventory and ordering, managing 6 employees, scheduling, POS installation and programming, vendor management, private event coordination, maintaining excellent customer service, creating and managing newsletters, redesigning, implementing, and updating company website, forecasting, budgeting, city planning contact, research & development. That's a lot, so why do all that for someone else he thought. He'd always had a passion for beer and used what he learned to pursue his other dream as an entrepreneur.

Ryan will soon be serving his California-based beer in the Fall of 2021 at Panoramic Brewing Company. With experience gained from decades in the food and hospitality industries, Ryan is offering a select group of visionaries the opportunity to invest in what connects residents and visitors of Sherman Oaks: beer, food and community. Together with a multi-disciplinary advisory board, he has identified a move-in ready location, complete with a 7-barrel brewhouse, full kitchen and Type 75 license.

Now Ryan gets to do the really hard part, meetings with investors to round out the initial investment needed to take possession of the property. This is the piece of the process every entrepreneur fears. Asking for someone's trust in your ability to succeed is not easy and takes a lot of strength and belief in yourself. In this episode we explore some of the mindset and passion you need to get an actual brick and mortar business off the ground.

Ryan is currently taking meetings with potential investors after a successful "friends and family" round. For more information, email ryankolbe@gmail.com, watch the video, check out age Panoramic website or connect on LinkedIn to follow his journey.
