Show Notes

This week we are joined by side hustler and after5preneur Randy Rutledge, who is the founder of Singletree Media, a one-stop media shop, specializing in social media marketing with data and targeting.

Right now, she is working on the Singletree Media Entrepreneur Incubation Model (EIM). Over the last year, she has worked with many entrepreneurs, those with defined brands, consistent content development, and products and/or services to sell, with at least 1000 active followers on their email list. She provides them with incubation opportunities to further their brand awareness in other markets by leveraging her media platform and customized web apps.

She also recently come up with a book “Soul Seed” which  is now available on Amazon. The book is for those who have lost sight of their inner curiosity...the curiosity that led them to new discoveries about themselves...which helped them to discover what they liked and what they were fascinated with.

Randy has a process for helping entrepreneurs that she shares with us on the show. She believes that every expert wants to start their own business, but for most, it's hard to pick just one idea.

Right now you have 10 ideas floating around in your head.
But you have trouble picking one so you never get started.
You're gridlocked because of fear - you believe you'll pick the wrong one. 😲

Use brainstorming to drill down your ideas based on what you LIKE and are PASSIONATE about.
Then, think about problems customers have experienced in that space.
Next, list your expertise as pillars. (1,2,3, and prioritize them based on your passion for them)
Last, pick the one you can solve the most problems with; the area that is currently trending for some reason.

"PICK ONE [IDEA] SIMPLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PICKING.
IT DOESN'T MATTER WHICH ONE.
THE ACT OF PICKING ONE WILL START YOU ON YOUR JOURNEY."
Dr. Randy Anita Rutledge
